Max Ferrero

Max Ferrero is a photojournalist and a teacher of photography. He works as a freelancer and has collaborated with the main Italian newspapers. He has also worked with the Italian photo agencies: Lucky Star, Photo Dossier, Contrasto, Linea Press, AGF. Since 2004 he has combined his work of photojournalism with the teaching at the University. For more than 20 years Max has been working as official photographer for the Consiglio Regionale del Pie- monte, taking care of institutional photography, photo archive, press office. From 2005 to 2009 he has worked as author for the specialized photo magazine: Fotocomputer. In 2007 Max hase founded the photo agency SYNC-STUDIO together with other photojournalists www.sync-studio.com From 2009 to 2019 he was the technical supervisor of the website “Fotozona”. Since 2010 he was the official photographer for the Consulta per i Beni Culturali di Torino. From 2012 he has been teaching photography at the “Accademia di Belle Arti di Novara”. Since September 2018 Max has been teaching photography at the Istituto Di Arte Applicata e Design di Torino. He works very closely with the ONG Sermig of Torino and keeps on following social themes through long term projects.
