David Barker

The third episode, The Story Behind the Photo features British TV and Film cameraman David Barker who worked for the BBC during the Siege of Sarajevo in 1994 on a five-part documentary series titled ‘Siege Doctors'.

While David Barker was in Sarajevo he took some important pictures of the city and its citizens, he photographed children playing in the park and the daily lives of ordinary Sarajevans. In this episode, he recounts the heartbreaking incident in which two young siblings were killed in an explosion.
